The Game Fair...

Lizzy & Meg
Lizzy & Meg

This weekend saw team RC Sporting visiting the CLA Game fair at Ragley Hall on Friday 25th July 2025.

We started our day with a fresh coffee and a gentle walk round, making our way over to Massy-Birch, who are a bespoke tailors and supply Bulland shoot with the finest tweed, making sure the keepers are kitted out with breeks, waistcoats and caps, ready for the season ahead. Richard also managed to get himself measured up ready for the busy season of hosting ahead.

The sun was shining which always draws the crowds in and it was lovely to bump into some old faces, from shooting clients, seed clients, and keepers. We talked shoot days in the field, seed in the ground, Chicks and Poults and rearing equipment.

Thanks to Tweedl and Eaton Hall for some brilliant hospitality.

The shops were full of some of the finest country brands. The food market really focused on local and small producers from speciality chesses, pickles, bread, cakes, game, venison and craft beers. It was refreshing to see one of the busiest food stalls was the pheasant goujons...yum!

The main arena had some enjoyable entertainment and is a the perfect location to have a break from the hustle and bustle from the stands.

RC Sporting really do feel that the CLA Game Fair is the annual gathering for people passionate about countryside pursuits, and the Great British Countryside. We look forward to the Game Fair 2026...
